Throughout the experiences that have shaped my life I have come to gain some perspective that motivates me to do good in the world around me. I believe that community is built through the sharing of good ideas so I actively work to bring these ideas to fruition. I try my best to listen to others, and pursue new and creative opportunities that enhance our community.

Projects I have supported include the installation of several community solar panels, EV chargers, the mural at Dinghy Beach, and in the creation of the Pugwash Farmers’ Market structures and the new Market Hub. I am proud of each and every one of these.

During my term I have learned how important it is to listen and encourage community members, and to value the many diverse voices that make the place we live so wonderful. One of the biggest places I learned this is in the many roles I have been fortunate enough to have at the Pugwash Farmers’ Market since 2008.

Recently I have appreciated the opportunity to learn so much from my time spent on the Boards of The Sunset Community, East Cumberland Lodge and the Cumberland YMCA.

I do my absolute best to make a difference and to
build community … creatively.
